Phase 2: Annexation and Land Exchange
Obviously things have been changing on our perimeter. This change has been over eight years in development. In 2002 the property was annexed into the City of Boulder and we received City water, fire and police services. Now, the final approval to complete that annexation plan is weeks away and the land sale and exchange that the church agreed to years ago will take place. Soon we will have city sanitation, new parking lots and landscaping and a campus with a shape designed for our future growth with City approval for two buildings and a sanctuary expansion.
The most exciting part of this is that we will no longer be on a dead end; we will be a neighborhood church, surrounded by new homes and families. The Elders will be communicating with you about a stewardship campaign to cover the costs of this project in the days and weeks to come. |
