Calvary Missions

The Missions Team at Calvary passionately seeks to "spread everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him" (2 Corinthians 2:14), our Risen Savior, by supporting the work of missionaries around the world and by enabling all believers to find out how they can be a part of God's work, locally and globally. Indeed, God has graciously given His Church "some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers" for the explicit purpose "to prepare God's people for works of service" (Ephesians 4:11-12) — that means all Christians! Praise God that in His infinite wisdom no one is left on the sidelines!

To this end, we send out weekly "missionary digest" emails with updates and prayer requests (sanitized, of course, for security reasons) to enable all believers to be actively involved in God's business in the world. If you would like to receive these updates, click here to sign up.

We also periodically offer the Kairos class, a nine-session, intensive course designed to educate, inspire, and challenge Christians to active and meaningful participation. Depending on the schedules of those who would like to take this course, we may offer it in one of several different formats, including weekends or evenings. For more details, please email Del Fafach.

In addition, we partner closely with other ministries at Calvary to encourage and assist missionaries, both while they are serving abroad and when they are in the States. If you would like to serve our missionaries in this way, please let us know by contacting Janis Winslow!

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." – 1 Peter 2:9
